# How the Referral Program Works

## The Referral Process

1. ### Sign Up for the Referral Program
   To participate in the referral program, you need to have an active paid MangoForm subscription. Once you have a paid account, you're automatically eligible to participate in the referral program.

   - Valid email address
   - Completed profile information

2. ### Get Your Referral Link
   Once you're eligible, you can access your unique referral link from the "Referrals" section in your dashboard. This link contains a special code that tracks when someone signs up through your referral.

   Your unique referral link will look something like this:

   You can find this link in the Referrals section of your dashboard.

3. ### Share Your Link
   Share your referral link with potential customers. You can share it on social media, your website, blog, email newsletter, or directly with friends and colleagues who might benefit from MangoForm.

4. ### Referral Signs Up
   When someone clicks on your referral link, they'll be directed to the MangoForm website. If they sign up for an account within 30 days of clicking your link, they'll be tracked as your referral.
   
   **Cookie Duration:** The referral tracking cookie lasts for 30 days. This means that if someone clicks your link but doesn't sign up immediately, you'll still get credit if they sign up within 30 days.

5. ### Referral Subscribes to a Paid Plan
   To qualify for a commission, your referral must subscribe to a paid MangoForm plan. You'll earn 35% of their first payment as your commission.
   
   #### Qualifying Subscriptions:
   - Monthly subscription ($25/month)
   - Annual subscription ($250/year)
   - Team plans
   
   #### Non-Qualifying Activities:
   - Free trial sign-ups
   - Account upgrades from existing customers
   - Reactivated accounts

6. ### You Earn Commission
   Once your referral subscribes to a paid plan, you'll earn a 35% commission on their first payment. For a standard $25/month subscription, that's $8.75 per referral.

   - **Standard Monthly Plan ($25):** You earn $8.75 (35%)
   - **Annual Plan ($250):** You earn $87.50 (35%)
   - **Team Plan (varies):** You earn 35% of the first payment

You can track your referrals and earnings in the "Referrals" section of your MangoForm dashboard. This section provides detailed information about:
